We had the absolute pleasure of working with Sy to help plan and coordinate our tea ceremony, Our QVB coordinator even commented not to worry since Sy has done many weddings with them, and is very organised. Where do I even begin with how wonderful Sy and his team is? I was so worried coming in for an event planner meeting after everyone told me I don’t need one giving my organisational skills. I am so glad I didn’t listen and went to see Sy. The bumps we experienced on our wedding day were from the venue itself…but Sy stepped in and helped us navigate through it. I honestly don’t know how he manages but even when he was MC’ing and we said English only is fine, he noticed some confusion with guests and was easily able to switch languages, cater respectfully, professionally and those little details can make the biggest difference in your night. When we had our MC and celebrant unexpectedly cancel, Sy was able to step in and take over those duties seamlessly. It saved us a tremendous amount of grief and hassle. We couldn’t have asked for a better fit.

He was a great coordinator for the day and leading up to the day. Fluent in English and Cantonese and he did an awesome job translating our cantonese parent's speeches on the spot too. Event Weddings is definitely a one stop shop for everything wedding, with considerations for many chinese traditions and western traditions. We were lucky to have Sy support our big day and would not have been so smooth without him. his experience and his team's experience for wedding coordination speaks for it self.
